RHI had some fun talking with the public at our PARK(ing) Day installation.  It was a great day with many creative public spaces created along King Street. Check out RHI’s installation featured for DC on Streetsblog.

Congratulations to one of RHI’s Directors, Deana Rhodeside, on being elected by the American Planning Association’s Private Practice Division as Vice-Chair. See the rest of our staff here.

We recently gathered at Meredith Judy’s house for a Garden Party after work.  Her garden was beautifully designed by Sandy Wilson, a student of RHI’s Thomas Rainer.  She graciously walked us around and described the garden and her design intent.  It was a great place to spend a Friday afternoon.

At the 2015 APA Virginia Conference, RHI’s team accepted the ‘Outstanding Plan Award’ for our Downtown Newport News Superblock Plan. Check out the Newport News project here.
