Landscape Designer

Heather is passionate about the intersection of culture, sustainability, and society in landscapes. She sees landscape architecture as integral to building spaces that are rooted in equity, pushing forward with innovation while acknowledging and honoring the stories of the present and past. Heather believes that intertwining cultural and ecological influences creates places that encourage connections on multiple levels.

Heather holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Richmond. Her work has ranged from cultural landscape preservation to residential gardens. Heather’s work in preservation and deep connection to the Virginia countryside have helped her develop strong skills in reading the history of landscapes.

Heather enjoys live theater and trivia.
