Christopher Nelson

Associate - Landscape Designer

As a landscape designer with RHI, Christopher brings with him a fresh perspective as a graduate of the University of Florida College of Design Construction and Planning. Drawing on his passion for the spoken word, through his studies, Christopher researched and surveyed over 80 U.S. university campuses focused on landscape master planning and the First Amendment and landscape adaptations for safety and inclusivity.  This research has earned him praise including presenting his work before the Counsel of Educators in Landscape Architecture as well as an ASLA Award of Merit presented by the Florida chapter for his outstanding academic achievement. Christopher believes his role as a landscape designer is to provide space for storytelling, and more importantly to allow for diverse user groups to have equal space in the landscape to tell and hear their own stories.
