Charlottesville City Council Votes Unanimously to Embrace West Main Street
The Charlottesville City Council voted unanimously on March 21, 2016, to embrace plans developed by Rhodeside & Harwell that will transform West Main Street. The selected concept, will transform the corridor into a 21st century street that safely accommodates a range of users including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and transit riders. Rhodeside & Harwell will lead the next phase of work to refine concept plans and to develop schematic design plans and prepare construction documents.
