National Zoo Conservation Pavilion

RHI, in collaboration with a design team, provided a revitalized landscape around the newly renovated Police Building as well as other key areas of the U.S. National Zoo including the revitalization and enhancement of the landscape along the historic Olmsted Walk in keeping with the Olmsted Walk landscape design language. In addition to considerate design sensitive to the history and geometry of Olmsted Walk, the landscape integrates storm water management rain gardens to convey and manage storm water quality and quantity requirements.
