Josh is an experienced community planner committed to improving the “community conversation” through removing barriers to civic engagement and employing a holistic, goals-driven approach to plan implementation. In addition to his transit policy research at the state and federal levels, Josh has contributed to more than a dozen long-range plans and studies. During his time in Southeast Michigan, he worked on a technical assistance task force for the state’s economic development authority. Josh earned his Master’s in City & Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At RHI, his expertise is drawn on for a variety of transit and comprehensive plan projects.
Josh laughs in the face of humidity and enjoys learning about other cultures through music and food.
