Tar River Legacy Plan

The Tar River Legacy Plan develops a bold vision for Greenville’s seven-mile long riverfront. Signature riverside parks (both active and passive), neighborhood connections, history and nature-based interpretation, and conservation of environmentally sensitive lands will transform the City’s relationship with its natural resources and spur economic development.
